March: BIG BEND March 20-24th
Travel March 20th and return March 24th.
- This will be peak season in the park so please get reservations NOW! Several rooms have already been booked at the Chisos Mining Company Motel where we have kitchenettes with a stove and refrigerator. Contact Chisos at 432.371.2254. There are other hotels in the area. March 21 will have a New Moon so the stars will never shine brighter in Texas. Nick Quinn has promised to give us a few pointers on night time photography.
- In order to make this a reasonably priced get away, we are car pooling and will bring food to share for most of the meals. Think simple, we are on vacation. Bring a casserole, lasagna and salad. Breakfast fixings and of course snacks and your favorite beverages.
