Field Trips

During most months, we have photography field trips. Some are local and others are out of town. From a few hours to a few days, they are a great opportunity to challenge yourself and each other and gain insights and knowledge that will improve your photography skillsets.

In addition to hanging out with a group of passionate photographers, you’ll have the opportunity to review and receive positive critique and relax with food, drinks and fun.

For November, we will once again be going to Fort Hood to make family portraits for members of our military. The dates are November 30 - Dec 2 We will be staying at the Quality Suites Hotel in Copperas Cove while at Ft Hood this year. Lone Star Flight Museum

For August, we will be going to the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington. We will meet on Saturday, August 18th at 9:45 a.m. The Lone Star Flight Museum is located at Ellington Airport near I-45 south and Sam Houston Parkway in Houston, Texas.

Painted Churches

On Friday March 9, 35 members and friends rode the bus to Schulenburg to see the Painted Churches. We had a very knowledgeble location docent to give us the history and color of the churches and the area. Had a great home cooked lunch.
